Thank you to everyone who joined recently. It’s time to introduce myself. I live in Auckland’s North Shore & create in my small home studio, surrounded by beautiful beaches. I’m a wife, a mum of 3 girls & an owner of 8 bunnies and a Malamute (so used to having a German shepherd around , we had to adopt this big boy. Happened unexpectedly, but naturally 🤍). I have a deep love for all living things, if money wasn’t a thing, I would have a huge animal sanctuary # My background is in Medical Sciences, so having that experimental mindset led to constant experimentation with mixtures, materials, patterns & textures. I’m hugely inspired by my roots, old memories, old things, imperfections, irregular textures & shapes, as well as nature. Having Siberian & Belarusian roots, a lot of what I do comes from there; the Forrests, powerful rivers, endless taiga plains, silent arctic deserts, crystal clear lakes, as well as my memories of spending summers with my grand & grand grandparents in Belarusian village. I still remember every dent, every crack on the central craftsman piece called Russian stove…. My deep fascination with people, creativity, objects, textures, architecture & interior design is my constant driver. I want to inspire you with my bold, fresh & modern workshops and Artwork. I’m creating a journey & really appreciate you being a part of it 🤍 I’m currently working on a new & exciting project, so watch this space !
